Welcome to Day 4
Motivation, Procrastination, and Task Initiation Mini-Course
Let’s get practical
Task Initiation Overview
Initiation in the Wild
By this point in the course, you’ve seen a lot of tools.
Cards that name patterns.
Workbook pages that slow things down.
Tips that reduce friction instead of adding pressure.
What I want to share next isn’t just a reminder of the cards.
It’s an expansion.
In the short videos today, I go deeper into the ideas you’ve already seen in the cards and workbook. Think of this as layered learning. The card gives you the concept. The workbook gives you structure. The video gives you context, nuance, and real examples.
You’ll hear how I talk about these executive function skills in real conversations. You’ll see how the same strategy can land differently depending on how it’s framed. You’ll notice how we move from behavior to brain, not from behavior to blame.
The goal is not to give you a script. It’s to help you refine your lens.

What was your takeaway from today?
Have a question about today’s lesson? How will you use this with students? I’d love to hear: Crista@connectedpathwayscoaching.com
Tomorrow, I’ll step back and help you see how all of these pieces fit together, and where educators often choose to go next once they’ve had time to sit with the work.
