Program & Community Operations Assistant (1099 Contractor)
Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible, with some evening availability required
Location: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person support
Compensation: $25–$35/hour, 1099 contractor, commensurate with experience
About Connected Pathways Academy
Connected Pathways Academy provides executive function training for educators, coaches, and professionals who support students. Our work is grounded in neuroscience, practical application, and a deep respect for how learning and development actually work.
We are seeking a Program & Community Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our training programs and online community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, behind-the-scenes work, and helping complex programs run smoothly.
This position offers the opportunity to grow into a higher-level operational role over time as the organization continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Community & Training Portal Support
Manage and maintain the online training community and portal
Upload, organize, and label session recordings and resources
Post program updates, reminders, and announcements
Monitor community activity and flag questions or issues requiring leadership input
Program Operations & Logistics
Support onboarding for new training participants
Manage calendars, session reminders, and follow-up communications
Track attendance and engagement for live sessions
Assist with maintaining and improving simple operational systems and documentation
Communications & Newsletter Support
Assist with drafting, formatting, and scheduling newsletters and program emails
Proofread communications to ensure clarity and consistency
Support communication timelines for launches and ongoing programs
Administrative & Leadership Support
Provide direct operational support to the Program Director
Help track tasks, deadlines, and ongoing initiatives
Assist with special projects related to program growth and development

Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Able to learn new technology and digital platforms quickly
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with online platforms, community portals, and email tools is a plus
Experience in education, psychology, coaching, or graduate-level study is welcome but not required
